Labor Wage Statistics uses statistics provided by the Department of Labor to help with future career choices.
- If you know what career you wish to pursue, the "Know your occupation" screen can show you average salary and employment numbers for your area. It can also inform you which industries or locations provide the highest pay and employ the most people in your career choice.
- If you know what industry you wish to work in, the "Know your preferred industry" screen can show you what careers have the highest pay or have the highest employment in that industry
- If you know what geographic location you want to live or work in, the "Know where you want to work" screen can show you which careers have the highest pay or have the highest employment in that area.
- For those happy in their current career choice, the "Compare your salary" screen can help you to graph how your salary compares with others in your career at a national, state, or city level.
This product uses the Department of Labor Data API but is not endorsed or certified by the Department of Labor.
